The Jesus Healing Center is open and saving lives.
Thank you Partners!
Our "remote medical clinics" save lives, and we are able to treat entire villages of poor people living high in the mountains. However, there are times when we find a malnourished child that should be in a clinic to receive ongoing care, or a young woman who needs a clean and sanitary place to deliver her baby. After seeing the same issues time and time again, the Lord laid it upon our hearts to build a medical/ malnutrition clinic on the Love A Child property in Fond Parisien. Once more, we were pushed to take a "step of faith." We call this wonderful medical facility our
Jesus Healing Center

This facility is such a blessing to the poor in Fond Parisien and surrounding areas.
The Jesus Healing Center is up and running thanks to our wonderful partners. We have some of the best medical professionals working to help those in great need here in Haiti.
Carole Stufflebeam is the Administrator of the Jesus Healing Center. She runs the day-to-day operations of the Center. Carole makes sure it is stocked with the necessary medical equipment and supplies required to run a facility like this.
She hired a team of wonderful Haitian medical professionals to work in our Jesus Healing Center. We have a Haitian doctor, several nurses and lab technicians who are serving in the Jesus Healing Center.

Dr. Mardy works in the Jesus Healing Center Monday through Friday. We are so blessed to have him on our team.
Each doctor we hire examines and treats 50 patients every day. Dr. Mardy is a Christian doctor dedicated to helping each and every patient that comes to the Jesus Healing Center. |

We have a great Haitian medical staff. We are so blessed to have Christian doctors, nurses, lab technicians and pharmacists working in the Jesus Healing Center. Each one works hard to help the people who come to our Jesus Healing Center for medical care.

The above picture shows where the patients first gather before seeing a doctor or nurse. Our patients sit on the beautiful porch of the Jesus Healing Center and complete a dossier (medical paperwork) before seeing one of our medical professionals. During this time, one of our workers has prayer with the people, talks to them about hygiene and shares Gospel tracts. Before our patients ever enter the Clinic, God's love is shared.
Once inside the clinic, each patient is taken to the area which will best help him or her. Below you see many mothers with their children in our Malnutrition Center in our Jesus Healing Center.

Our Social Nurse has "classes" with these mothers to teach them how to take care of their underweight and malnourished children. Treating the children in our clinic is one thing, but teaching the mothers how to feed them with "what little they have" is another.

By educating the poor mothers who come to our clinic, we hope to save thousands of toddlers and babies that would otherwise die from severe malnutrition. The Malnutrition Center will allow us to care for infants and small children who suffer from the different forms of malnutrition, Marasmus and Kwashiorkor.

The Jesus Healing Center helps save thousands of lives and helps us share the love of God every day. Please pray about how you can help Love A Child continue to minister to the people of Haiti by providing qualified medical care in the Jesus Healing Center. If you would like to help by making a donation now, please click the button below.
In March, a team member brought a portable ultrasound to use in our clinic. We saw what a great blessing the equipment was when it showed two serious problems with pregnant women who came to the clinic. We will able to provide the necessary treatment to keep the mothers and babies healthy.

We need a portable ultrasound for the Jesus Healing Center. With a portable ultrasound, we can use it in the Jesus Healing Center and take it to the mountains to assist in our mobile medical clinics. The cost of the equipment is between $25,000-$28,000. If you can help with getting Love A Child this piece of equipment, please send an email to info@lachaiti.org.
Doctors are needed to stay for 3-6 months or longer, as a "tour of duty," on the mission field. Love A Child is praying especially that the Lord will send us a retired missionary doctor who wants to live in Haiti full-time and work in the Jesus Healing Center. We will provide the best accommodations, which include a beautiful room, small kitchen and living area with air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower. Please email us at info@lachaiti.org for more information.
