Food Distribution Center title

 

 

Praise the Lord, the Food Distribution Center is in use everyday.

The facility is complete on the outside.  We are working to complete the inside with shelving, racks and a fork lift ramp which will help us organize, store and distribute food better.  The total cost for completing the inside of the Food Distribution Center comes to $20,000, if you would like to help finish this project, please click here to donate now.   We are thankful for what this building can do to help the poor people living in the country of Haiti.

We are now using the FDC to store pallets of food.   We are preparing to deliver food to nearby villages in the coming days.  The food was donated to Love A Child from Feed My Starving Children.   Love A Child must pay the costs associated with shipping the container of food from Minnesota to Haiti, including Customs fees and distribution to the villages in our Feeding Programs.   To learn more about our Feeding Programs, please click here.

Love A Child brings in volunteer teams to help with "larger jobs."  A team from New Hope Ministry comes to help with final details on the Food Distribution Center.

 The team installed a large door in the Food Distribution Center.  They would have installed others, but when the FDC was built, the "door spaces" were a little crooked.

Our Food Distribution Center will help so much with storing large amounts of food, medical supplies and emergency disaster essentials. Love A Child shares food, medical and other supplies with many missionaries in the country of Haiti.   We need shelving, racks and a fork lift ramp to complete the Food Distribution Center which will help us organize, store and distribute the food better.   We need $20,000 to complete the inside, please pray about giving a gift toward the shelving and racks for the Food Distribution Center and click here to donate now.

Several Haitians are working on the FDC.  Remember, everytime we employ one person, he feeds an average of ten people.

  
Love A Child feeds over 4,000 children in impoverished villages throughout Haiti each day. In addition, we are feeding over 500 families each month, and most of these families have eight to ten people living in the same hut. That is an additional 4,000-5,000 more men, women and children.
