Bobby and Sherry Burnette of Love A Child were in the trenches with the Earthquake victims, helping to pull the injured from the rubble and transport them to the LAC medical clinic in Fond Parisien, Haiti. Fond Parisien is only 45 minutes from Port au Prince and seven miles from the Dominican Republic border.
Our Jesus Healing Center is operating around the clock to support the needs of thousands of victims who continue to arrive in Fond Parisien.
Love A Child’s Orphanage withstood the earthquake, and all our children are well. We are now housing orphans and staff from a nearby orphanage that collapsed, and providing food to many other orphanages and organizations daily.
We appreciate all of the phone calls to our office and emails expressing support and inquiring how to help with earthquake relief, and what to donate.

We're so thankful to everyone who has offered to travel to Haiti to work on the mission field! We’re kindly requesting that you do not come to Haiti with plans to work with Love A Child. If this changes, we’ll let you know here on our website. We truly appreciate your desire to help your Haitian neighbors and serve God, but we do not have resources for mission teams or visitors.
If you desire to travel to Haiti to work with other organizations, registration is required with the Center for International Disaster Information at CIDI.org.
