"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made..."
Psalms 139:14
"Every life is a work of art..."

Out of the darkest point of life, out of the doom and gloom, there is beauty.
There is an artist on our property here at our Love A Child Disaster Relief Center...

He is painting beautiful artwork to sell so he can earn a few dollars to help support his family. He was injured in the earthquake, but he is still trying to do his part to earn a little money.

Even injured, he still keeps trying to make a few dollars for his family. Many of the doctors, nurses and volunteers drop by his tent to find out about his art.

He is showing his work to American doctors, nurses and volunteers. He hopes someone will want to buy a painting.

Meanwhile, he is teaching children how to paint too...

Haitians are wonderful people; each one is an artist...from the ladies who sell in the marketplace, who arrange their fruit in their baskets...

...to artists like this young man.

We hope to start a project soon, teaching the Haitians how to do arts and crafts, so that they are able sell these to our partners and friends to make a living.
Just look at the faces of these children who have lost their limbs...

Each one is a "work of art."

More tomorrow.
